CrossFit is constantly varied, functional movements performed at a high intensity. No two WOD’s (workout of the day) will be repeated. In CrossFit, we say “routine is the enemy” because once your body is in a routine, it adapts to those specific movements and domains that you are training. Being constantly varied ultimately allows you to train for unknowable conditions such as being chased by a bear, pulling yourself up over a wall, or even local CrossFit competitions. All the movements you perform at the gym will help prepare you for life.

Every person that walks through the door is an athlete and is treated as such! Coaches work with each individual athlete to make sure they have proper body mechanics before allowing them to increase weight or difficulty in each movement. Every movement is “scalable” which means it can be modified to a level of difficulty that meets each athletes needs.

The best part about CrossFit is that everyone performs the same workout together and motivate each other. The person who finishes last receives the most high fives and cheers. The community isn’t like anything you will experience at a regular gym.
